Sextoooh

Sextoooh is a pedagogical tool focusing on the issue of sexting and gender stereotypes. These stereotypes are not so much about sexual orientation, but rather about how girls and boys (and everyone else) are differently judged when they are involved in sexting situations and how they deal with it.

The educational aim is not limited to a simple presentation of the risks and consequences of sexting. Indeed, we are interested in the (sometimes stereotypical) behavior of young people in such situations.

On the one hand, the way they behave within their own group (intergroup dynamics) and on the other hand, the way groups behave among themselves (extra-group dynamics).

Questions such as the feeling of belonging to a group, the desire to stand out/be noticed, self-image, love relationships, sexuality, friendship, etc. are discussed in this tool.

Sextoooh encourages young people to become aware of the dynamics they are involved in during sexting situations, but also of the influence of their choices on them.

However, there is more to it than that! Sextoooh encourages and promotes debate, raises awareness of each other's opinions, and highlights gender stereotypes.

Sextoooh is composed of 3 main methodologies: "Once upon a time", "Share your opinions" and "How would you react if....? Each of them includes several scenarios highlighting the underlying issues of sexting and gender stereotypes.
