Recording of the SID 2025 gala in Poland

The Safer Internet Day 2025 gala in Poland featured six well-known experts working in the field of media education and prevention of online threats to children and adolescents. It is noteworthy that one of the speakers was Wojciech Kardyś, who was recognised for his significant contribution to the development of the digital space in 2022, as a result of which the European Commission appointed him as the EU Digital Ambassador for Poland. The day of the event also appeared Prof. Bogdan de Barbaro, M.D., Ph., Tomasz Turba, dr Alicja Długołęcka, dr Alicja Puścian and Oliwier Nytko. Presentations covered topics such as: 

  • The teenager between the parents and the smartphone;
  • The role of sex education in the prevention of online risks;
  • Harmful content (mainly promotion of harmful behaviours) and other dangerous trends among young people, as well as prevention means;
  • The dangers of deep fakes;
  • Loot boxes, dark patterns and other traps in games;
  • How new technologies affect young users' brains.

In addition, a jazz music band was present on stage throughout the event and took care of the artistic setting of the entire conference.
