As part of the development of the digital youth club Cyberhus at the Centre for Digital Youthcare, we have launched a series of pilot initiatives designed to strengthen the connection between digital platforms and local communities. One of these initiatives is a workshop for young people, tested at a local educational institution in one of our partner municipalities.
In the workshop, participants engage with real-life dilemmas from our helpline, Cyberhus, take on the role of a youth counsellor, and share dilemmas from their own experiences. The aim is to foster dialogue about youth vulnerability and to raise awareness of where young people can seek support when they find themselves in challenging situations.
Each workshop is systematically evaluated, and results show that more than 80 per cent of participants have found the format both meaningful and useful.
