Lesson package "You are what you are doing on the internet"

Lesson package includes tasks and exercises for pupils of Grade 5-12 to strengthen their knowledge of safe and meaningful use of the internet. Six lesson plans covered in package with engaging tasks are developed in a youth-friendly and fun way accompanied by the recommendations for teachers how to involve youngsters and ensure that they share and learn from each other's experiences by actively participating in lesson about internet safety. Meanwhile, teacher in a guided lesson plan can find best way and approach to deliver key messages and tips on how youngsters can protect themselves online.

Lesson plans includes six topics about internet safety linked to children's online behaviour which sometimes can lead to overexcitement and even obsession with the online world and could expose themselves to many risks like cyberbullying, online harassment, privacy concerns, fake news, misinformation, online addiction etc. Each lesson plan is dedicated to a specific topic and covered under the following titles:

1. Be balanced;
2. Respect others online;
3. We are prettier, smarter and braver on the Internet;
4. Everything you do may come back to you;
5. Don't be too overwhelmed with using internet, no one has ever got to the bottom of the internet;
6. You can hide from the world being online, but you can also hide from the internet in the real world.

At the end of each lesson plan six assessment tests are available to evaluate acquired understanding of learned topics.
