How do I recognize fake news? How do I search the Internet correctly? And how do I check online sources? In this scavenger hunt, the players independently research the answers to these and similar questions on Saferinternet.at. Only when a question is answered correctly do they move on to the next one. For each correct answer there is one or more solution letters. These are collected and result in a solution set at the end. This is needed to successfully complete the scavenger hunt. As a reward for participating, the players receive a certificate. In addition, they can see how fast they were in comparison to the other players by means of a ranking.
The scavenger hunt lasts about 45 minutes and is therefore perfectly suited for a teaching unit. Of course, it can also be used in youth work.
