To encourage children and young people to be aware of online risks, SIC Latvia has developed a poster which serves as a visual guide to help recognise and understand the potential threats while using the internet. 

Promoting responsible digital behaviour can help children and teens surf the internet with confidence and protect themselves from potential risks and dangers.

The poster provides the following key messages for children and teenagers:

• Think before you post - reminding to consider the consequences of sharing personal information online.
• Use privacy and security settings - encouraging to use privacy settings to control who can see your content and interact with you.
• Actions and behaviours have consequences - emphasizing that careless and negative behaviour can lead to unnecessary problems.

The digital file can be easily printed as a poster version and can be used to put on a wall in a visible place at home or at school, classroom or other premises to remind kids about internet safety principles.
