'Digital Balance'-model & self-test

What does it mean to have a healthy digital balance? How much screen time is too much? And is there such a thing as too little screen time? How much exercise do you actually need, outside of your screen time? Does it matter what you do on your screens, or is all screen time identical?

Digital balance is about organizing your time in such a way that you feel good and healthy. The right balance is different for everyone, and it is best to decide for yourself what is right for you. The model was developed by Dutch Media Literacy Network and the Trimbos Institute, and functions like a mirror: by assessing your own health in three areas, you can determine what balance works for you. To help you figure this out, we use the Digital Balance Model to map out what it takes to live a healthy life. You can also take the self-test to assess your digital balance.
