The teaching material is aimed at pupils from the fifth grade upwards and comprises ten teaching units in which children and young people learn a critical and responsible use of the Internet. The units are based on ten selected videos from ZDFtivi's "App+on" offer (ZDFtivi is the children and youth programme of the public broadcaster ZDF). Among other things, these deal with false beauty ideals on Instagram, the dangers of fake news or the repetition of gender clichés in online profiles. Teachers can easily integrate the material into their lessons and teach online skills for dealing with net phenomena in an entertaining way. In the units, which each comprise one school lesson, children and young people are informed about possible risks. They can repeat what they have learned in small project tasks and transfer it into daily practice.
