This study is the second short report to present preliminary results of the survey Online Conduct of Children in Bulgaria, published by the Bulgarian Safer Internet Centre. Addressing parental support, media education, information literacy, communication, and children empowerment in the digital environment, the study focuses on how parents support children to develop digital media literacy skills. It includes parents' strategies in defining online devices and media that can be accessed by children, how to manage communication media (permission and supervision), and how parents control or regulate children online. The report presents general and specific recommendations for parents seeking support in their children's digital education.

Methodology
The Bulgarian Safer Internet Centre produced three short reports presenting preliminary results of the survey Online Conduct of Children in Bulgaria, the national research contribution to EU Kids Online 2016-2017. A total of 1,000 children and 1,000 parents were interviewed regarding their practices in the digital environment.
