This study is the first short report to present preliminary results of the survey Online Conduct of Children in Bulgaria, published by the Bulgarian Safer Internet Centre. Addressing potential harm and risks in the digital environment, the results reveal a comprehensive approach related to the online conduct of children and young people and the impact of media education. In addition to accessing online experiences and potentially harmful content, social networks and the sharing of information and personal data on this type of platform are also investigated. Among the risks discussed, the study addresses contact with strangers on social media, bullying (including cyberbullying), inappropriate online content, sexting and sexual harassment, and excessive internet use.

Methodology
The Bulgarian Safer Internet Centre produced three short reports presenting preliminary results of the survey Online Conduct of Children in Bulgaria, the national research contribution to EU Kids Online 2016-2017. A total of 1,000 children and 1,000 parents were interviewed regarding their practices in the digital environment.
