#Generation2024 comprises two online questionnaires, one created for children and the other for teenagers. The questionnaire aimed at children includes responses from 629 students between the first and fourth years of primary school. 2,798 students, including those in the fifth and sixth years of primary education and all years of secondary education, completed the teens' questionnaire. In addition to this quantitative data, individual interviews and group discussions were also conducted in order to explore different themes in greater depth. The report presents findings on the technologies most accessed by children and adolescents, the services most frequently used, which digital devices are preferred to access online media, and for what purpose.
According to the study, approximately 15% of teenagers reported being harassed online multiple times in the past year, while 40% said they had witnessed online harassment during the same period. When dealing with cyberbullying, young people are more likely to seek help from their parents and friends rather than school staff. This is the case for over 80% of young people.
The report presents further findings on the context of young Belgians' digital use, including reflections on their digital well-being.

Methodology
This report was carried out by the Conseil supérieur de l’Education aux Médias (CSEM) and the non-profit organization Média Animation, a member of the Betternet consortium that operates the Belgian Safer Internet Centre (SIC). The study comprises an online survey of 3,742 students from Wallonia and Brussels, adapted to different age groups. A representative sample was drawn from 17 primary and 26 secondary schools, culminating in the final selection of 3,427 students: 1,259 from the primary and 2,168 from the secondary levels.
