The Portuguese Safer Internet Centre (SIC), through the National Cybersecurity Centre (CNCS), has launched the second edition of the open and massive online course (MOOC) "Cybersocial citizen". This training is completely free and will make you aware of all the dangers on social networks.
The Portuguese Safer Internet Centre introduces interactive game "Eu e os Outros"
On the second day of the C-Days 2022 – the Portuguese annual cybersecurity conference - Raúl Melo, a psychologist from the General Directorate for Intervention on Addictive Behaviours and Dependencies (SICAD), presented the "Eu e os Outros" game on the panel "Society: non-substance addiction and problematic internet use” explaining the importance of considering mental health in order to invest in prevention measures.
Czech youth panellist organises peer-to-peer programme on internet safety
Safer Internet Centres in Europe convene youth panels to help guide their work and ensure it is targeted at those it aims to support – that is, children and young people. Denisa (18), a member of the Czech Safer Internet Centre’s youth panel, has started a peer-to-peer programme at her school with help from the centre. The main idea of peer programmes is the involvement of professionally educated young people in preventive activities and peer support.
Goodbye, summer! A unique event for Ukrainian children in Lithuania
On one of the last days of summer, 30 August 2022, hundreds of Ukrainian children – who have found a new home in Vilnius as a result of the conflict – gathered for a picnic in the open air which was called “Goodbye, summer!” (in Lithuanian „Ate, vasara!“ and in Ukrainian Пікнік "До побачення, літо!" Для дітей України). Lots of educational activities, as well as dancing, soap bubble blowing, mastering of tricks, tasting delicacies, and even an open-air cinema was waiting for the children, and their parents and guardians.

BEE SECURE DigiRallye – summer edition 2022
The purpose of the DigiRallye is to show children how media and technology can be used safely and responsibly, and at the same time, make sure that it is fun! The 12th edition took place on 27 July 2022 at the Campus Geesseknäppchen in Luxembourg. 80 children aged between 8 and 12 years old from various day-care centres, and their educators, took part in the event.

Back to school in Greece with a focus on misinformation and online gaming
The new school year in Greece has kicked off with a campaign on misinformation and safe online gaming. Through lesson plans, quizzes, videos, posters, fairy tales and activity booklets, students of all ages are receiving online safety education which will help them to adopt a code of values to deal with the emerging risks of using technology.
