What is the MAIF "Numérique éthique tour"?
To facilitate universal access to digital technology, the ‘MAIF Numérique éthique Tour’ travels through the country from town to town to connect with local audiences. Collaborating with selected local and national players, the ambition is to demonstrate what digital technology can do in our daily lives while raising awareness of the risks and challenges of the internet. The ‘Touring Village’ travels from September 2023 to June 2025 in a journey with 30 stops.
Transported in a creatively repurposed school bus, the setup features educational content, including ten resources from MAIF and its partners. These resources include quizzes, coding activities, and anti-bullying workshops. Beyond this comprehensive content, visitors can meet local actors, including representatives from the public library, the police, and the job centre.
What is our contribution to the Tour?
The French Safer Internet Centre offers an interactive booth raising awareness on harassment and bullying based on our schools and family-friendly resource, the cartoon series Vinz & Lou. From 2022 to 2023, the tour welcomed over 15.000 visitors.
