On 10 February 10 2026, the world marks Safer Internet Day, which aims to promote the safe, responsible, and positive use of the internet - especially for children and young people - and serves to raise public awareness about online safety and a culture of mutual respect on the internet. In Georgia, SID was celebrated with a conference.
The SID conference was co-organised by ISOC Georgia, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, and the Communications Commission.
Safer Internet Day is a global initiative that brings together government agencies, the education sector, private companies, the technical community, and civil society organisations to jointly discuss the challenges of the online environment, and ways to address them.
