Audiovisual Media Services Act (ZAvMS-B)
This law Slovenia transposes the AVMSD 2018/1808 with Law 4156. on Amendments and Additions to the Law on Audiovisual Media Services (ZAvMS-B) that entered into force on 12 January 2022. The Slovenian AVMS Act (Art. 38b) regulates protection of minors from programmes, user-generated videos and audiovisual commercial communications which may impair their physical, mental or moral development, on VSPs. AKOS, Slovenia's national regulatory authority for the media, is the responsible implementing agency. AKOS is also Slovenia's Digital Services Coordinator.
Guidelines for the harmonised use of IT solutions in education
The "Guidelines for Harmonised Use of IT Solutions in Education" aim to ensure compliance with personal data protection when using IT solutions in the education sector. Issued by the Information Commissioner, these guidelines address numerous questions arising from the increased use of communication IT in schools, particularly during the COVID-19 crisis, covering activities like remote learning, video conferencing, and the sharing of educational materials.

Action plan for safe digital upbringing

Harnessing Digital: The Digital Ireland Framework
The Digital Ireland Framework is a national digital strategy which outlines a comprehensive roadmap to drive digital transformation across the economy and society by 2030. Implementation is overseen by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Recovery and Investment, which is chaired by the Tánaiste or deputy Prime Minister, with supporting official-led substructures.

Digital Strategy for Schools to 2027
The Digital Strategy for Schools to 2027 is Ireland’s national roadmap to incorporate and enhance digital technologies and infrastructure in schools and prepare students for an evolving digital world. The Strategy builds on the achievements and ambition of the previous strategy and aims to further support the school system to ensure that all learners have the opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills they need to successfully navigate an ever evolving digital world.
