Certain websites made for grown-ups can't just say “kids are not allowed” in their rules and ignore what’s really happening. If they know that younger people can get onto their site, they have to follow the guidelines.
Platforms covered by the guidelines include:

![]() | video-sharing and streaming sites (like YouTube and Twitch) |
![]() | games where users can play and create their own content or games (like Roblox and Minecraft) |
![]() | any website or app where users can view, post, and share content (like Discord and Reddit). |
