This resource was developed by SIC Malta’s Youth Panel. The Youth Panel produced and edited this video about digital footprint. Members of the team and youth advisors participated in the video. This video was shared with all middle and secondary schools and featured in school assemblies on February 6th. Additionally, it was promoted on SIC Malta’s social media platforms to reach a broader audience.

The Better Internet for Kids (BIK) reviews of the year are typically released to coincide with Safer Internet Day celebrations each year.

These annual reports provide an overview of a multitude of stakeholder efforts to both protect and empower children and young people in their digital lives over the past year, when BIK has focused on making sure that young people are protected, respected, and equipped with the skills they need to thrive in the digital world.

At the beginning of 2024, Linka bezpečí released three short online videos about safely sharing content on the internet. Why and how were these videos created, and how should parents approach these topics? You'll find out from the guests on the podcast: Mgr. Hana Petráková, head of the Linka bezpečí email counseling service, and Martin Mareš, the creative director of the marketing agency that produced the videos.

This series of 6 interactive videos lessons is aimed at families, teachers and educators who look after children aged 6 to 9. 

The video series teaches children 6 key messages about internet safety in a fun way. Given the format of this resource and to encourage constructive discussion, we recommend that children work through the videos accompanied by an adult.
