Whether we’re talking about TV, internet, apps, games or smartphones: media are all around us and every child uses them. MediaMasters introduces primary school pupils to the opportunities and threats of (digital) media in a fun way. They get to work on media literacy themes such as social media, information skills, programming, privacy, cyberbullying, cybersecurity, creating vlogs and online behaviour (or ‘netiquette’).

Working with people with a mental disability means that you regularly have to do with clients' online vulnerability. This group is more often a victim of online abuse such as cyberbullying, (shame) sexting and grooming. But a life without internet is not an option in this digital world. Digital media offer countless opportunities. Apps, videos and social media provide clients with fun, creativity, social contact and more direction over their own lives.
