Gaming is a fun and sociable way to spend time, encouraging teamwork and developing skills. All good stuff, but there are a few risks you need to be aware to help children and young people to stay safe and have positive gaming experience. Between October 2019 and December 2020, the Italian Safer Internet Center - SIC ran seven educational and awareness raising seminars addressed to youth professionals (social workers, paediatricians, psychologists and teachers, as well as all those professionals involved in child protection issues) aiming at deepening understanding the current challenges to the children’s rights in the digital age in terms of education, privacy, protection, participation and freedom.
