During the summer months of 2019, the Cyprus Safer Internet Centre (SIC) held a series of workshops at children's summer camps on the "Creative and safe use of the internet".
During the summer camp workshops, children, counsellors and teachers as well as parents' groups were informed about the opportunities and risks of the internet, as well as the operation of the Helpline and Hotline 1480.
Through exploratory and active learning, the workshop participants had the opportunity to participate in group discussions on the following topics:

The parent’s guide ‘Know how to talk with your teen about Instagram’ has been translated from English to Greek, from Cyprus Safer Internet Center (Cyprus Pedagogical Institute), in order to inform parents on how to ensure that Instagram will be a positive place where their children can connect and benefit from.
