The Greek Safer Internet Centre has launched "Your Safe Place", an innovative online platform designed especially for children and teenagers. Its mission is to strengthen safety, confidence, and responsible internet use by offering a friendly space where young people can find support, guidance, and a voice.

The platform stands out thanks to its simple design, easy-to-understand language, interactive tools, and visual content. It helps children and teenagers to:

• Learn what to do when they encounter inappropriate or scary content.
• Seek help if they are being mocked, threatened, or bullied online.
• Report fake or misleading news.
• Protect themselves if private photos are shared without permission or if they face online pressure/extortion.
• Report online fraud, racist comments, or hate speech.
• Flag cases of hacked personal accounts.

Collaboration with SafeLine:
Through a child-friendly form, young users can anonymously report any issue. Reports are reviewed by experts who ensure that proper action is taken with responsibility and respect.

Collaboration with the Help-line:
Children who need to talk about their online concerns can reach trained psychologists of the Safer Internet Help-line. Support is immediate, confidential, and anonymous, ensuring that every child feels safe, heard, and empowered in the digital world.
