Young representatives of the Croatian Safer Internet Centre participated in the creation of the manual. They decided that Snapchat is the platform they want to get to know more about, to find out "what we're all agreeing to" in the Terms of use, to point out possible dangers and refer on how to react to violence if you encounter it.
The purpose of this manual is to inform young people (especially high school students) about how to recognise different forms of violence - from relationship violence, emotional violence, sexual violence and electronic violence, to make them aware of their role in recognising and reporting violence, but also instructing you on how to react and who you can contact have recourse to.
