Video game CALL OF DUTY

During our Safer Internet lessons in Lithuanian schools, we noticed that many children under 18 years old, and sometimes under 13 years old, were playing the video game CALL OF DUTY. In this game the player takes the lead role in a variety of spectacular war scenes that creatively interpret real wars or future scenarios by recreating imaginary conflicts. Aggressive content, violent scenarios, graphic realism and realistic violence. Although Call of Duty is only a computer graphics game, some parts of it can be frightening and violent, especially for younger players. We created a guide for parents and teachers to help them better understand the rules of the game, the threats and the tools they can use to control it.
