Child Focus is happy to present sexting.be: a platform that gathers information, tools and resources for a wide variety of target groups around the topic of... sexting. By targeting parents, schools, teachers & youngsters themselves, the platform offers a 360° approach in awareness raising.
What is in it (for you) besides articles, our training offer and information?
- Schools: A policy enhancing tool than allows schools to develop a tailor made policy in orde to prevent sexting to go wrong and how to handle sexting that DID go wrong.
- Classroom level:
Theater play Sex Thing, which tells the story of Anna, whose sexy snap got spread through the entire school five years ago. She wasn't invited for the reunion, but decides to show up anyway and adresses the crowd as they were her classmates who spread the picture or didn't do anything to prevent it ...
+ Lesson plans 'Sexting@School', to discuss sexting with secondary school pupils.
- Youngsters:
SEXTMACHINE! In order to empower young people to deal with sexting situations: how to say NO when you don't feel comfortable to send a sext, how to sext in a safe manner and how to react when you receive a sext that wasn't meant for you in the first place... Child Focus created a Chatbot that works on Facebook Messenger that addresses young people in their natural (online) habitat and in their own (online) language.
