We created a place in which children can communicate to discover both new things about internet, as well as ways to resolve online conflicts. By the atmosphere created here
we help to create feelings of peace and trust, to provide time and space for children to learn how to manage or self-regulate their emotions or behavior in response to o
unpleasant situation in the online environment.
Concretely, we set up a physical space (within a school) dedicated to students, located in an open place, easily accessible during breaks (eg hallways, entrances, school yard). The character of interactivity is offered by the interactive boards designed for the safety of children in the online environment, the pouf armchairs and the actual design. For the best possible organization, we also requested the connection with 3 students - volunteers to be ambassadors of the program in the school where we placed created this
magnetic place. Thus, the selected site has been transformed into a magnetic site that contributes to the transformation the internet into a better space for students, teachers, parents, for all of us.
