Online talk show for adolescents “Inappropriate content and its impact on adolescents”

As part of SID 2023 celebrations we organised a one-hour live online talk show for young people on the issue of inappropriate online content and its impact on teenagers. The first part of the show focused on the issue of online influencers who spread problematic beliefs, while the second part of the conversation focused on online pornography and the messages it conveys and the impact on children and adolescents. In the Safe.si studio were Rok Gumzej, social educator, vlogger, lecturer and counsellor at Logout, which counsels young people trapped on the internet, and Ajda Petek, Safe.si expert on online violence, gender-based violence and sexual violence online. The discussion was moderated by Neža Prah Seničar. The technical part of the performance was provided by the Arnes multimedia team.
We recommend the show to adolescents older than 13 years, as well as to parents. We have prepared a lesson guide for teachers to guide the discussion after watching the programme.
