Info Hunter / Hate Speech interactive course

31% of 11-18 year olds have been exposed to racist content on their networks and 25% to hate speech related to religion. Incitement to hatred, violence or racial discrimination is an offence punishable by law.

InfoHunter - Online Hate Speech is a middle/high school interactive resource on online hate speech, to learn how to recognise and decipher online racial hate speech. Based on an explanatory video, this course helps teenagers acquire the right reflexes to recognise online hate speech and decipher the mechanisms on which it is based.

From 13 years old / middle school / high school pupils

Objectives:
- To get to know the main mechanisms of online hate speech.
- To understand the legal consequences of hate speech.
- To learn that online hate speech can have offline consequences.
- To be able to identify a source and question its reliability.
- To know how to search for information.
- To be able to do a reverse image search online.
