E-learning: victims of teen pimps

The latest studies in Flanders and Brussels on victims of teenage pimping are clear: professionals with in-depth knowledge and skills about the teenage pimping phenomenon are needed.
A lack of reliable information about this phenomenon leads to underdetection of the phenomenon and consequently still too often stands in the way of an adequate approach. Child Focus wants to fill this gap and therefore launches an online course on victims of teenage pimping. This free course is aimed at professionals, more specifically social workers, police and prosecutors. This online course consists of four modules:

MODULE 1 - KNOWING: Debunking myths about victims and perpetrators.
MODULE 2 - DETECTING: Recognizing a teenage pimp victim
MODULE 3 - RESPONDING: Responding appropriately to a situation of sexual exploitation in prostitution
MODULE 4 - PREVENTING: Reduce risk of becoming a victim
