How far would I go to get 'likes'? How can I learn to stop and think rather than respond to a hurtful comment immediately? And what can I do to take a break from my computer?
It is important to create dialogue with children about issues such as these. And it is especially important to do that with children who have cognitive challenges such as ADHD and autism. They are struggling with impulse management and impact calculation, which can be a challenge for their social life online.
This teaching material is structured as a course of eight activities. Some based on workshop in groups, other activities as individual work. The themes include children's own experiences online, languages and messaging, image sharing, online profiles, time usage and online rules.
