Analogue and digital go hand in hand

The work with the national youth panel has led to a collaboration with the SSP in three Danish municipalities to run a series of youth seminars for 250 8th-grade students. In 2023, the theme was the importance of algorithms for digital literacy. One of these occasions saw the involvement of Jesper Mørkholt, chairman of the specialised SSP committee for digital education in Denmark.

Danish focus on 0–6-year-olds' use of digital media

For developing the large-scale national project on young children’s media literacy, the Media Council sought the knowledge and input from parents of 0-6-year-old children. All material published in 'The first digital steps' project is therefore based on the results of a quantitative survey, which was disseminated in April 2022 with the report '0-6-year-old use of digital media'.
