Which social networks are currently the most popular among young boys and girls in Austria? The results are collected in the Youth Internet Monitor.
Better Internet for Kids will participate in Europe Day 2022 celebrations
On Saturday, 7 May 2022, a series of activities will take place at various EU institutions to celebrate Europe Day (9 May). Better Internet for Kids (BIK) will participate in the in-person event with a dedicated space at the European Commission where the BIK agenda and initiatives will be showcased, alongside online safety games and interactive activities for children and young people from the Insafe network of Safer Internet Centres (SICs).

In the spotlight: Safer Internet Centre Sweden
As part of the Better Internet for Kids (BIK) Quality Assurance Programme (QAP), the Insafe-INHOPE Coordination Teams are jointly conducting a set of ten country visits to national Safer Internet Centres (SICs) to better understand what is happening in the Member States: monitoring emerging issues and challenges, identifying good practices to be shared, and harvesting the results of the Better Internet for Kids (BIK) policy. Due to circumstances caused by COVID-19 restrictions, the visit to the Swedish Safer Internet Centre was carried out as an online meeting on 15 November 2021.
Safer Internet Day 2022 celebrations in Iran
Safer Internet Day (SID) – which is known as Clean Internet Day in Iran – was celebrated for the fifth year with a special ceremony organised by Anarestan (Amin SMD Co.) and held at the Absal high school in Tehran.
