My name is Vaggelis, and in March 2026, I participated as a speaker in the COFACE Families Europe event “Families in the age of artificial intelligence: Rights, inclusion and empowerment” in Athens, Greece. My role was to help guide the discussion while also delivering a presentation on how AI is shaping everyday life and family dynamics.
During the event, there were presentations and open discussions about the impact of artificial intelligence on everyday life and family dynamics. As a speaker, I had the opportunity to present my ideas and thoughts on the topic.
One of the most important moments for me was the presentation itself, as well as meeting the team, interacting with the people present, and listening to their different perspectives and levels of expertise. I found the discussions about how AI influences children’s learning and critical thinking especially interesting.
Through this experience, I realised how quickly AI technology is evolving and how it continues to unlock new possibilities while also presenting new challenges. Listening to others made me think more critically about the balance between using AI as a helpful tool and not becoming too dependent on it.
I chose to participate in this event because I wanted to share my ideas about AI and learn from others. It was important to me to be part of a conversation that affects our future. Overall, this experience helped me gain new perspectives, improve my communication skills, and better understand the role of AI in our lives.
