Children and young people's media habits and access to technology

This report is a partial report that belongs to the Children and Media 2024 survey. In this interim report, results are presented in the areas that shed light on children's media habits, as well as their access to equipment and technology.

Methodology

Data collection was carried out in the first quarter of 2024, at 122 different schools spread across the country. 3,212 children aged 9-18 have taken part in the survey. The results are weighted by gender, school level and municipality size (Based on Statistics Norway's overview of municipality size - the 20 most populous municipalities make up 46 per cent of the population) to equalize sample bias.
