Better Internet for Kids

Since 2010 various organisations from all over Europe take part in the annual campaign All Digital Weeks, organised by ALL DIGITAL. This year it was the 14th time the campaign has been organised in Lithuania under the coordination of the association "Langas į ateitį". Every year cybersecurity and safer internet are important topics of the campaign.

Spoofy teaches children about the dangers of the internet, safer online behavior, and other topics related to the use of smart technology. The game is inclusive, educational, and free. It is available online and to be downloaded as an app. Additionally, supporting materials are prepared for parents and teachers that introduce the game and provide lesson plans for education.

Lithuanian SIC introduces a series of informative flyers for parents and educators, that describe most popular apps and games that kids and teenagers are using. Flyer „Game AMONG US“ is dedicated to introduce parents to a very popular children's game in Lithuania.
In 2 pages the flyer is describing:
-    Main rules of the game AMONG US
-    Reasons for its popularity among children
-    Main threats and safety advices regarding in-app purchases, inappropriate content and unfamiliar players.

Description: Internet of things is incrasingly being used in home appliances and personal gadgets. 2 page flyer introduces the description of ToT term, its tendencies in Lithuania, advantages, disadvantages and main threats related to ToT, safety advices.

Description: Phishing is the leading type of online fraud in terms of amount of losses. The scale of phishing has been growing significantly for the past few years, at more than 30 percent annually. The increase was driven by the pandemic, which significantly increased the number of internet users and their activities online, the methods used by fraudsters have improved.
The flyer introduces phishing: exampes of phishing using various apps and e-services, social engineering, advices to recognize phishing and avoid losses.

Kaip apsaugoti savo vaikus nuo netinkamo turinio, svetimų žmonių įtakos internete, kaip pelnyti vaikų pasitikėjimą, kad jie kreiptųsi pagalbos, iškilus problemoms? Šis komiksų pristatymas kviečia susimąstyti ir skirti vaikų skaitmeniniam gyvenimui daugiau dėmesio.

Konkurso dalyviai kūrė darbus, kurie atskleidė saugaus bendravimo elektroniniais laiškais, žinutėmis, pokalbių svetainėse, socialiniuose tinkluose galimybes, naudojantis kompiuteriais ar mobiliaisiais telefonais, akcentavo netinkamo bendravimo internete pasekmes bei šių problemų sprendimo būdus.
