Cyber criminals try to enter and cause damage to your phone or computer in multiple ways. For instance through hacking, phishing or ransomware. But, you can protect yourself!
The five videos explain the risks, what to do and how to protect yourself against cybercrime. With every video a small summary is added with some extra information and what steps to take.

An updated version of the lesson plan on Sexting has been written by the Dutch helpline. The students will learn what Sexting entails, what non consensual intimate image sharing is (or sexting abuse) and what the consequences are when sharing an intimate image of someone without their consent. The students will learn to think about their own limits, their own wishes and how the respect the wishes/limits of others. At last, victim blaming is treated and how to look for help when a problem or questions arise.

An updated version of the lesson plan on Grooming has been written by the Dutch helpline. The students will learn what Grooming entails, what the law says about Grooming, how groomers typically act and how to recognize a groomer. They will practice on how to deal with a groomer when they are approaching.
The students will learn to decide about their own limits, in the online world. They will learn how to deal with a situation such as grooming and will know where to get help and how to talk about it.

An updated version of the lesson plan on Sextortion has been written by the Dutch helpline. The students will learn what Sextortion entails, how to deal with someone threatening them and what rights they have regarding the topic.
The students will learn to think about their own limits, their own wishes and how the respect the wishes/limits of others. At last, victim blaming is treated and how to look for help when a problem or questions arise.
The teacher will be able to use various examples and cases that showcase sextortion well.

Slachtofferhulp Nederland has created the letter and posted it on their website. The letter can be sent to someone threatening to spread nude images without consent. This letter can be used as a defense for victims who are being threatened. Although it doesn't guarantee the perpetrator to stop spreading images, it could feel better for a victim to be able to do something. The Dutch police also supported this letter.

A letter-template is being shared, which can be adjusted to personal requirements.

Stephanie explains is a website where difficult or challenging topics are explained in an easy way. For example, making friends or money matters. In collaboration with Helpwanted, the helpline department of the Dutch EOKM, a module focused on online flirting was developed for teenagers and adults with a learning disability.

The Dutch EOKM conducted an online poll on www.scholieren.com amongst teenagers aged 12-14 to find out how they respond to classmates forwarding them nude images. The results were as follows:

- 19% I speak up and let them know this is not OK
- 23% I forward the image
- 30% I don't act at all
- 28% I click away

Pupils within teacher training, special needs education and high school learn what they can do when confronted with unwanted sexting and how to prevent this.

The EOKM developed several storyboards on harmful content to be posted on social media. Since 2022 the EOKM (SIC-NL) has expanded its focus from online online sexual abuse and harassment to include harmful content. As part of this expansion, a re-run of the 2021 campaign was developed and focused on harmful content. This content was posted on Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat as well as some media outlets.

For secondary special education students, the online world offers opportunities to participate in society. So it is important for them to develop those digital skills that are appropriate for the times and will help them in the society of the future.
