This report presents the national findings for Croatia from the international EU Kids Online research network.
The national EU Kids Online survey, first conducted by the Croatian Society for Communication and Media Culture in 2017, clearly indicates, after eight years, profound and systematic changes in the digital habits of children and young people. The latest results, presented in December 2025, allow for a direct comparison with data collected eight years ago and provide insight into how the digital environment of children in Croatia has become more intense, more comprehensive, but also more complex and risky.
The EU Kids Online 2025 survey provides a thorough picture of children's digital experiences in Croatia, based on quantitative data collected during May and June 2025 among children aged 10 to 16. The report indicates that digital childhood in Croatia has become more intense, complex and risky in just eight years.

Methodology
The study follows the standardised, quantitative research methodology established by the cross-national EU Kids Online network. Data collection was conducted using a nationally representative sample of children and adolescents in Croatia, stratified by age, gender, geographic region, and socio-economic background. The national EU Kids Online survey in the Republic of Croatia was conducted by the Society for Communication and Media Culture with the support of the Agency for Electronic Media.
