International Day of Families 2024

15 May marks the annual United Nations International Day of Families. Each year, the day offers an opportunity to promote awareness of issues relating to families and to increase knowledge of the social, economic, and demographic processes affecting them.

Here on the Better Internet for Kids (BIK) portal, we’ll be focusing on the role of families in the online world - for example, the family unit working together to ensure all members of the family can use the internet safely and responsibly in support of the day, and that strategies are in place to support well-being online. Come back nearer the time to read more.
