The Safer Internet Conference “Keeping children and young people safe online” has been one of Poland’s most notable events, dedicated to protecting the youngest internet users. This year, it will take place in September, both in person in Warsaw and online.
The programme for this anniversary event includes presentations and panel discussions by experts on topics such as the digital needs of children and young people, well-being in the online world, the safety of the youngest internet users, and how to tackle digital threats. Experts will explore artificial intelligence (AI) and its role in young people’s lives, as well as the issue of growing up in a world of algorithms.
The conference brings together people who work with children and young people daily, run educational programmes, support families, work on prevention, provide psychological support, and conduct research on the digital world of the youngest children.
The conference will be held in a hybrid format. Plenary sessions will take place on Tuesday, 15 and Wednesday, 16 September 2026 at the Focus Hotel Premium in Warsaw, Poland, and will also be streamed online. Sessions on these first two days will be available in English, Polish, and Polish Sign Language. Online workshops, held in Polish only, will take place on Thursday, 17 and Friday, 18 September 2026.
Participation is free, but online registration is required. For questions, please contact the conference organisers.
