Safer Internet Day (SID) provides an important opportunity to highlight the impact of this collaboration among hotlines. Aligned with the Safer Internet Day theme, INHOPE is shining a light on how its member hotlines work together for a better internet, while responding to the specific needs of children and communities in their own national contexts.

Organised as part of the European Commission’s Better Internet for Kids initiative, Safer Internet Day takes place every February, with a global focus on the second Tuesday of the month. Each participating country or organisation sets its own focus, often addressing topics such as artificial intelligence, social media, digital well-being, cyberbullying, safety by design, or video games.
