Our activities are aimed at parents and professionals with the goal of enabling children and young people to use digital media in an age-appropriate, safe and responsible way. In addition to legislative activities, we are particularly concerned with providing information and raising awareness of important topics, opportunities and risks. In addition, the Federal Social Insurance Office, which manages the platform on behalf of the Federal Council, works closely with other stakeholders.
About us
Youth and Media is the national platform for promoting media literacy, operated by the Federal Social Insurance Office. We support parents and experts in competently guiding young people in their use of media – so that children and young people handle digital media responsibly and safely.
