What we are doing to create a better internet...
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Qatar has launched Safe Space, an initiative dedicated to enhancing internet safety and digital awareness across the nation. In line with the Safer Internet Day slogan, “Together for a better internet,” Safe Space provides a comprehensive platform that empowers individuals and communities with the knowledge and tools to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
Safe Space delivers a variety of educational resources, including interactive content, infographics, 3D animation series, educational games, digital toolkits, and awareness campaigns tailored for children, youth, educators, students, parents, and the wider public. By abiding by three principles: prevention, protection, and empowerment, the initiative equips stakeholders with essential skills to combat online risks such as cyberbullying, privacy threats, and misinformation.
