About our SID activities
Through the National ICT Authority's (NICTA) Consumer Affairs, several low key activities have been planned to observe this very important day and to be extended for the full month of February. The SID campaign aims to promote a responsible, respectful, critical and creative use of digital technologies and to call on all stakeholders to play their part in creating a better internet.
The SID campaign serves as a platform to advocate on the ever-increasing number of online safety related issues including cyberbullying, image-based abuse, adult cyber abuse scams, cybercrime and other key issues within our local communities. The SID awareness serves to promote safer online habits, whilst also drawing the public’s attention to the potential risks and opportunities of their online activities.
Campaign includes a media campaign using online and print media and stakeholder engagements.

Playing a part in educating stakeholders and general public, especially younger (school-aged) population on safe online practices.
