We look forward to seeing many of you at the joint Insafe-INHOPE training meeting this week, taking place in Latvia on Wednesday,15 and Thursday, 16 April 2026 at the Baltic Beach Hotel in Jūrmala, near Riga.

The meeting will start at 13:00 EEST on Wednesday, 15 April 2026.

Please note, there are two optional sessions on Wednesday morning (selected at the time of registration): a “Method Market” focusing on how to use gamification in educational work with Gen Z and Alpha generations (starting at 09:30 EEST), and an overview of the Latvian helpline (starting at 10:00 EEST).

Registered participants will by now have received the customary training meeting booklet by email, giving the full agenda and speaker biographies (also available online). Parallel session choices will be displayed on the badges of onsite attendees.

Exceptionally, the sessions hosted in the main plenary room (Jura and Jurmala) will be livestreamed for this edition of the joint training meeting:

The agenda further confirms which sessions will be streamed. Any questions relating to the livestream on Wednesday/Thursday should be directed to the BIK-info mailbox.

If you have any questions or need further information about the joint training meeting more generally, please contact Karl.

To help make this happen, children and teenagers (aged 12 to 17) are invited to share their views on the Digital Fairness Act through an online survey. The survey is available until Monday, 26 April 2026 and is available in all EU languages.

Read more about the consultation on the Children's Participation Platform.

Safer Internet Centres are encouraged to share this information with their own youth panels, and wider national contacts and networks.
