About our SID activities
Every year, SIC Ukraine marks Safer Internet Day with a wide range of awareness and educational initiatives aimed at:
- Empowering children, parents, and educators to recognise online risks and protect themselves effectively;
- Help children understand the importance of responsible online behaviour, particularly regarding personal data protection and critical thinking;
- Create a supportive online environment where children can learn, communicate, and develop without fear.
What we are doing to create a better internet...
Together for a better internet! - a reminder that change starts with each of us. Whether you are an IT specialist, a teacher, a parent, or an entire organisation… your actions matter!
Cyberbullying, online grooming, sexting - at a time when online threats are increasing, it is essential for government, civil society organisations, and the wider community to join forces to protect children; the youngest and therefore most vulnerable users. Working together is crucial to ensure a safe and positive online environment.
About us
The "Safe Internet Centre" brings together six civil society organisations and, more importantly, a dedicated team of people working to protect children from the very real threats of the digital world: cyberbullying, sexting, harmful content, fraud, and more.
The Centre is a coalition of organisations implementing the three key pillars of the European model: hotline, helpline, awareness-raising, and education.
