Hungarian Safer Internet Centre - International Children's Safety Service (ICSS) -

Profile last updated: February 2026

About our SID activities

The Hungarian Safer Internet Centre is organising a creative poster contest for children aged 8–15 years called “What I heard from AI… but is it really true?”. The goal of the contest is to help children understand that artificial intelligence (AI) can make mistakes and that it’s important to question and critically evaluate what AI tells us.

What we are doing to create a better internet...

By collaborating with schools, policymakers, and industry partners, we amplify the message of "Together for a better internet" and advocate for shared responsibility in creating a safer online ecosystem. We believe that the internet should be a place where individuals can learn, connect, and grow without fear or harm.

About us

The International Children's Safety Service, as Hungary's Safer Internet Centre, is dedicated to making the internet a safer place for everyone. As an awareness-raising centre and hotline, our mission is to educate children, parents, and teachers, support the creation of a secure online environment, and effectively address harmful online content.

Our goal is to ensure that all internet users can browse safely and know where to turn for help in case of problems. Through our programmes, we not only draw attention to the dangers of the internet but also highlight its positive opportunities.

Together, we are building a future where safe browsing and quick assistance are accessible to everyone!
