Children's safety is a top priority for X, therefore we have reinforced our cooperation with BIK organisations and Safer Internet Day to ensure their campaigns on X are successful and gain the visibility they deserve. We are proud to participate to SID 2025 to prove our commitment to protect children online and create synergies with key partners.

X's purpose is to serve the public conversation. Our priority is to ensure all people can participate in the public conversation freely and safely. We have zero tolerance towards any material that may harm children online, such as features that promote child sexual exploitation, which is among the most serious violations of the Our Rules. Regardless of the intent, viewing, sharing, or linking to child sexual exploitation material contributes to the re-victimization of the depicted children. This also applies to content that may further contribute to victimization of children through the promotion or glorification of child sexual exploitation. For the purposes of this policy, a minor is any person under the age of 18. Cooperation with Non-Governmental Organizations (“NGO”) protecting children online is crucial to us. Therefore X permits NGOs to use automation to submit reports without prior consent, provided that they identify themselves as such organizations, either by submitting reports through their official email domain or in the application through a verified account representing their affiliated entity.
