About our SID activities
Since Safety n Us aims to reduce the digital violence against children and youth in the cyberspace, the activities are also in line with the same mandate. These activities include:
- School-based awareness campaigns,
- Parenting sessions in order to bridge the gap,
- Youth and children digital literacy skills,
- Radio sessions,
- Webinars and podcasts in relation to children online safety.
What we are doing to create a better internet...
To create a better internet, Safety n Us is holding campaigns for both children and parents. We are also creating podcasts to amplify the children's voices. We are cascading information among the teachers and also technical companies so that the technical expertise is increased for the sake of the children.
We also use the hashtag #internetsafetyforallchldren when disseminating information.
Other activities include advocating for better internet policies and navigating challenges to do with better internet.

Safety n Us Trust Zimbabwe is a proactive organisation focused on reducing digital violence against children in the context of the 21st-century connected society. They recognise that children have surpassed adults in technology usage, exposing them to new forms of vulnerability, such as cyberbullying, illicit content, and scams.
The organisation seeks comprehensive, systematic, proactive child safety solutions using awareness and training programs. They mobilise resources to address and facilitate the protection of children from violence, which may be committed online or facilitated by being online. Safety n Us Trust also offers psychosocial support to children affected by violence.
Our mission aligns with the need to address child violence with innovative solutions that match the complex dangers children face in the digital society. By promoting awareness, providing training, and supporting affected children, Safety n Us Trust Zimbabwe plays a vital role in creating a safer online environment.
