What we are doing to create a better internet...
At Fundación PAS, we actively work to create a safer internet by:
- Educational platform: We offer training resources for parents, caregivers, children, adolescents, educators, health professionals, and companies, promoting the creation of environments free from child sexual violence.
- Collaboration with TikTok: Development of a parental guide for parents, guardians, and caregivers, highlighting key safety tools for children and adolescents within the platform.
- Reporting hotline: Through the Te Protejo México platform, users can anonymously report cases of digital violence and child sexual exploitation via an app or website.
These efforts reflect our commitment to protecting childhood and fostering a safer and violence-free digital culture.
About us
Fundación PAS has been working for 15 years to prevent, address, and report child sexual violence in Mexico. Recognising the increasing prevalence of this issue in digital environments, in 2021, Mexico joined INHOPE, the international network dedicated to eliminating child sexual abuse material, by launching the reporting hotline Te Protejo México. This platform allows users to anonymously and safely report cases of child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation, and other forms of digital violence.
Through the analysis of reports received, Fundación PAS has generated valuable research that identifies trends and informs effective prevention strategies, contributing to safer digital environments.
Currently, we have a strategic alliance composed of 39 civil society organisations, government agencies, tech industry leaders, and international partners who work together to create a safer digital environment for children and adolescents in Mexico.
