About our SID activities
We have made a public call to schools, encouraging them to engage with the topic of DeepFakes. Teachers are provided with a selection of support materials and resources that are already available online. These materials can be used to start conversations with students and to further explore and deepen the topic together.
What we are doing to create a better internet...
To support a safer and more informed online environment, we actively promote media literacy in schools. By raising awareness about DeepFakes and offering practical teaching resources, we help educators address digital manipulation, strengthen critical thinking skills, and empower young people to navigate online content responsibly. Through these efforts, we contribute to a more resilient and trustworthy digital space for everyone.
About us
The media literacy group was appointed by the government in 2014.
The group:
- is the point of contact for questions on competent media use,
- strengthens networking and cooperation between the individual institutions with the primary aim of creating added value through synergies and increasing quality,
- monitors current developments regarding media use,
- carries out public relations work,
- supports and advises specific institutions and multipliers in the organisation of training courses or other events, and
- maintains networking with neighbouring countries as required
