Online survey for children and teenagers on the Digital Fairness Act

[FINAL REMINDER, FOR INFORMATION AND ACTION]

The European Union wants apps, websites, games and social media to be fair and safe for children. To help make this happen, children and teenagers (aged 12 to 17) are invited to share their views on the Digital Fairness Act through an online survey. The survey is available until Sunday, 26 April 2026 and is available in all EU languages.

Read more about the consultation on the Children's Participation Platform.

Safer Internet Centres are encouraged to share this information with their own youth panels, and wider national contacts and networks.

Online meeting with OpenAI

[THIS WEEK, FOR INFORMATION AND PARTICIPATION]

There will be a meeting with colleagues from OpenAI on Tuesday, 21 April 2026, from 17:15-18:00 CEST. Apologies for the late start – OpenAI colleagues from the US West Coast are attending, and after a lot of back-and-forth, we agreed on this as a compromise.

Use this link to join the meeting, which will take place on Google Meet rather than the usual Teams.

If you have any specific questions or issues you would like OpenAI to address during the meeting, or if you require any other information, please contact Karl. We want to ensure that the session is as useful as possible.
